Even though I'm only in town for two weeks before heading to Mexico for a little R&R, I couldn't resist putting on some Christmas music and putting up our little (and slightly tilted) Christmas tree. Having white twinkly lights on at night makes our apartment so very cozy - so the hour of work is most definitely worth it. I also indulged in a small purchase from the seasonal aisle at Trader Joe's. Those little dark chocolate star cookies are additive (and surely not helping me get my body get bikini ready!)

I seriously cannot avoid browsing the ornaments at Crate and Barrel and Anthro each year. They are too pretty and too sparkly to resist. The Anthro wrapping paper pictured above is calling my name! I think I love wrapping gifts more than actually opening them - maybe :)
