Info Post
I'm so excited to have AV from Long Distance Loving here today. So far we've touched on a ton of big cities in this series (New YorkSan FranciscoChicago & Toronto) so I'm happy to add a smaller city into the mix and I've only heard great things about this one.

I've lived in Providence for two years and four months.

Providence has so many amazing restaurants, but my favorite spots to dine are:
Gracie's for a date night with {cv}. When I'm there, you'll always find me with the rigatoni campanaro on my plate.
Broadway Bistro for a quiet night out with the girls
Julian's or Nick's on Broadway for brunch on the weekends

My favorite shopping spot is sadly a national chain, but if I had to go local, it would be Zuzu's Petals {they have a great Shoshanna and Milly selection!}.

One hidden gem in Providence is Brickway on Wickenden--another tasty breakfast spot!

When I have visitors, three places I insist on taking them are La LaiterieDuck & Bunny and Zooma.

If I have a free day in the city, you'll likely find me exploring the Hope Artiste Village or kicking a soccer ball with {cv} at the Roger Williams National Memorial Park before lunch on the East Side. After lunch, we'd stroll Federal Hill, a lovely Italian neighborhood full of hustle and bustle. A free day might also include a show at the Providence Performing Arts Center!

One neighborhood I'd love to live in is the East Side {where Brown and RISD are nestled} because there is always a flutter of activity...and the homes remind me of my days in Georgetown and Alexandria.

My favorite season in the city is spring because it's exciting to see all the green after a long winter of white, though fall is pretty spectacular too.

If I could describe Providence in three words they would be eclectic, charming, and growing.

My favorite thing about Providence is, without a doubt, the food. We have such a diversity of options at a reasonable price...and free valet ;) {I also love that RISD is in my backyard!}

Although I love Providence, if I could move to elsewhere tomorrow, I would choose Charlotte, North Carolina or Alexandria, Virginia.

Thank you so much for sharing AV. I seriously want to go to Duck and Bunny right now. And I'm so happy I can now add "snuggery" to my vocabulary. Providence looks like such an amazing city! Don't you all agree?

Please also check out my guest post on Things That Sparkle. I'm sharing some of my favorite "little things" for Wedding Wednesday!
